Lanka Kade was recognised as a fair trade supplier by BAFTS. Many of Lanka Kade products are rubber wood sourced from exhausted rubber plantations that are replanted every 10-15 years. Children are not involved at any stage of the production of items. All products are handmade by seven family based enterprises in Sri Lanka. Every toy has been successfully tested in the UK by EC toy approved body. They all carry the CE mark denoting that they comply fully with BS 5665 and EN71 parts 1,2 and 3.
